Taurus New Moon

We are now in the sign of Taurus, The Bull, and New Moon is just days away (Tuesday the 3rd of May). Aries has somewhat passed the torch to Taurus, although it is still influencing, according to Kathy Rose (http://bit.ly/jlfqGt) I enjoy listening to her talks on the New Moon energy each month. Aries is the energy that catapults us forward, gets us excited and inspired with new ventures. Since there are still some planets in Aries, we still have some of that inspiring energy to boost us. Mix that with the energy of Taurus, the earthy, step by step energy, we just might create great things this month.
When I started to re-investigate Taurus this month, the first thing I saw was that Taurus rules money and independence. For those of you who know me, you’ll understand that my mind went straight to ABBA’s Money, Money, Money. Here’s the Mamma Mia version- my favourite.(http://bit.ly/j3g8K). However, this is the dreamers version of money. We need to ground that version, and Taurus energy is perfect to help us with that. Taurus is an Earth energy. It brings focus and patience to help us ground our fantasies, hopes and dreams into the physical. It helps us to recognize what steps we need to take in order to realize our goals and helps us plan and begin to take those steps in a consistent manner so that we may, at some point change our song to one of celebration.
Grounding is a very important part of manifesting. The plants that are pushing through the earth right now have grown roots in order to hold them in place, create stability and to bring nourishment up from the earth. We need to do the same with our intentions and wishes. We need to ground them so they can receive nourishment and continue to grow. One of the ways I ground and nourish is to imagine I am breathing in and out through my feet, bringing in earth energy. It feels great.
Taurus is ruled by Venus, the Goddess of Love. This is the perfect time to get in touch with your body again. It has been tied up in winter clothing, unable to breathe. This is the time to take a look and begin to appreciate it again. Is it time to get active and lean up abit? Is a pedicure in order? Taurus is very sensual. So smelling the roses as you pass by, feeling the earth beneath your feet, skinny dipping, although it’s a bit cold still unless you live somewhere warm, will all satisfy the Taurean impuses. Take the time to appreciate and bless all that surrounds you, don’t just pass it by, not looking and unfeeling.
If you setting intent this New Moon, here are some samples:
I am taking time to appreciate my surroundings and my friends.
I am focused and doing what is necessary to expand my bank account.
I am contentedly taking things step by step, in the knowledge that I will meet my goal.
I am exercising patience with my family and myself.
Have fun this New Moon. Run your hands over the grass, investigate a tulip, take the time to tell someone you appreciate them.

Manifesting Joy

I looked over my notes for the Full Moon past, to see if there was anything that would indicate why so many people, including me, are “under the weather” right now. The only thing I found was Greg Scott talking about the mid-heaven in Scorpio bringing anything that is not yet healed to the surface. So, if you are not feeling well right now, is the situation showing you anything that is not yet healed? For me it was easy to figure out. Even with the flu, covid, a cold, whatever it is I am entertaining right now, I

I thought I Was totally Screwed

For a long time, I thought I was totally screwed. You may have guessed that my sun sign is Sagittarius – the symbol of which is a bare-chested strange looking guy with a bow and arrow, four legs and the back end of a horse. It’s a fire sign. What you probably don’t know, is that my rising sign is Gemini -the twins – double trouble. Gemini is an air sign and its symbol looks like a doorway to who knows where. Air ignites fire. Neither sign struck me as being particularly grounded, so I spent a lot of
