The New Moon on Sunday March 30, 2014 is in Aries. Aries is the Warrior, having the strength and 
determination to force its way through the earth to bring new life. This year I get the feeling there is still a lot of self-care needed, and consciousness in how we bring forth new life. These are interesting times; we are seeing the death throes of those who wish to control, so as we create this year we need to be as positive, supporting and conscious as we can be. We are creating a future that is highest and best good for all.
People born under the sign of Aries are known for their initiative and high energy levels. They are action oriented, honest and straightforward.
In Aries we are also dealing with survival issues. Any new seedlings we plant need determination to survive, as we need determination to bring our ideas into fruition. This year, nurture them well. Remember to trust and follow your instincts. They will keep you safe and where you need to be.
With Aries, we set intent for our new journey through the zodiac. This takes self-awareness and sets us on a journey of self-discovery. We once again get to explore who we are against a slightly different backdrop.
Aries is very involved with the self. This is the time to define what your life will look like, what direction it will take. It’s a time to understand how to take care of yourself – how to be self-sufficient. This takes courage, strength and “valor”.
Along with this involvement with self, we need to remember that whatever we do needs to be done with consciousness, highest and best good for all concerned.
Physically, Aries rules the eyes, acne, head, headaches and dizziness. We are creating in Aries, visioning, opening to guidance, so any resistance to going where we have never gone before might cause a problem.
