I’ve been on a wonderful journey this week in my investigations and playing with crystals for the heart. All of the crystals that I am sharing today will help to open the heart chakra, provide balancing and healing. But each crystal seems to enjoy working in different areas of relationships. Some seem perfect for getting yourself ready to attract a relationship, some to heal a relationship and some in developing a relationship with self.
Aventurine:
I love this stone. It’s most common colour is green and is used at the heart chakra to activate it – open it up- and to clear it of any debris that needs to go. This gets you ready for a relationship. Aventurine will also give you a little protection from those who wish to use or feed off your energy. It will connect you to the adventurer within (a definite must for those embarking on relationship). It enhances creativity (where are you going to find that special one?) motivates you to get going, and enhances your leadership abilities (taking the lead). All in all, this is a great stone to be connected with for the journey.
Diamond:
Diamond is actually a quartz. Many people think of diamond as the ultimate love stone. According to Melody (Love I in the Earth), the Diamond must be given freely in order to do its work. It ensures love and harmony in relationship and enhances trust. In our society, it has become a symbol of romantic love, however it also reminds us to love ourselves as well as others. It is said to symbolize the great central sun, a force that never needs renewing, maintaining its brilliance and perfection. This is a reminder that Source – our Source – shares these qualities and invites us to connect.
Rose Quartz:
As its name suggests, this is a pink stone, soft in colour and in nature. It is a wonderful stone to use to gently remove debris (pain and hurt) from the chakras, especially the heart chakra. It will help to heal emotional wounds. Bringing a calmness so one can better understand.
This stone encourages one to slow down, take your time. There really is not rush. So, if you are in a “whirlwind” relationship, Rose Quartz may help you to ground and centre.
Watermelon Tourmaline:
If you are looking for a relationship with your “higher self” Watermelon Tourmaline is the stone for you. It is a light-hearted stone that activates the heart chakra in a big way. Once that happens and you are connected through the heart to the higher self, it’s easier to see the humour in situations. It seems to help activate compassion to where you are more able to be the witness – to see past the drama of an experience and not take things so seriously. Watermelon Tourmaline has a joyfulness that is hard to contain – sometimes I can almost hear it laughing. It’s hard to be unhappy when you are holding this stone.
Have fun with crystals this Valentines Day.
