On October 23rd we moved into the sign of Scorpio, and the 6th of November is New Moon. New Moon is a time of introspection, a time to go within and see what we have created, where we are in relation to our goals, and what we would like to create over the next cycle. This month we get a double dose of that, as Scorpio invites us to look deep within, to question what is important and to release what no longer serves. It is truly a sign of transformation.
Scorpio is a water sign, so it deals with emotions, and it’s a fixed sign, which invites stillness. So, if you find yourself not wanting to get out of bed, or off the couch, know that Scorpio may be influencing. Take advantage of the energy (or lack of it) to meditate and come to an understanding of changes that need to be made in your life. What are your values; are you living by them? Scorpio can be intense, so take a deep breath and make the hard decisions. Let things go that no longer serve you.
According to Robert Wilkinson, (www.theaquariuspapers.com) the stars are indicating that we will meet forks in the road over the next while and we will have to make decisions. Stay open to the possibilities, as new “adventures and wider abilities to launch into the future” are opened.
It’s really an exciting time if you can embrace it.
If you are setting intent this New Moon, here are some suggestions:
- I am easily aware of other people’s needs and motives.
- I am confidently embracing change in my life.
- I am easily manifesting strength and self-discipline in my eating habits.
- I am recognizing my power and influence and using it wisely.
- I am welcoming health in the areas of colon, bladder, rectum, sexual organs.
Have fun with your intention for this cycle. Scorpio may be intense, but fun is allowed.
