Scorpio is a time of transformation, of change, of facing our fears, and moving into the empowered beings that we naturally are. We journey into the depths to find and release what is holding us back. For these 28 days we have some extra support for our growth.
These next days could be very interesting energetically. Many of you will be aware of the December 12, 2012 date for the end of the Mayan calendar and all the mystery surrounding that. What many may not be aware of is that according to scholar John Calleman and Barbara Hand Clow, the calendar actually ends this Friday October 28th. My take on it is that there may be a shift energetically that day. The world is not going to end. (It can’t, I have appointments booked after that, and I’m sure you do as well). The end of October, we have All Hallows Eve, or Hallowe’en. November 1st is Samain (or Samhain). This is the midpoint between the September Equinox and the December Solstice. It was a time of bonfires and harvest parties, where you ate what could not be stored for the winter. It’s also a time when the veils between the worlds are said to be the thinnest. This is a great time to honour the ancestors, perhaps ask them some questions and do some healing work.
On November 6 here in Toronto we turn our clocks back for Daylight Savings Time. I know that this time change often throws people off their rhythm, so intend that the transition be one of ease this year.
Friday November 11 is the 11:11:11, another energetic signpost. The number 11 is a master number and I have read a number of interpretations of it. The one I personally resonate with the most is that it represents bringing heavenly energy to Earth. This will be a great time to meditate and spend some quiet time.
This period of being in Scorpio promises to be vibrationally very high. During this time we are being offered the opportunity to embrace change, to become the empowered beings we know deep down that we are. That’s where Scorpio challenges us to go – deep down. When we resurface, who knows what we will accomplish. Peace would be good.
