New Moon in Sagittarius

New Moon in Sagittarius is Thursday the 13th – right after the 12-12-12! Sagittarius is my favourite zodiac sign (I’m a Sag). It is a sign of expansion, of questing – looking for answers. Sag is represented by the Centaur – half man and half horse – holding a bow and arrow. Some say that Sagittarius shoot their arrows into the sky and never stop to see where they have landed. They are not noted for follow through – they are the ideas people. However, having four feet helps to keep them grounded.

Sagittarius looks for the truth in all things. They are frank and honest – sometimes too much so. They are not known for their tact, but often will say exactly what you need to hear, even if it is not phrased delicately.

This sign is linked strongly to religion and higher guidance, perfect as this is a time of opening to guidance and connecting to the Sacred. It is strongly connected to nature  – often getting it’s strength and divine guidance from a walk in the bush or by the water. Even though it is cold and windy, don your coat and hat and take a tour around the block, to the park to visit some trees or to the beach. It will do you the world of good.

Sagittarius love to be free. They love to be adventurous, spontaneous. They love to explore and travel, to get to know other cultures and their people. They like to understand other cultures – what makes them special.

This sign is one of the most positive in the zodiac. Sometime it can go overboard and has been called a pollyanna – never seeing the downside. This can be a good thing, but sometimes it’s good to see all aspects of a situations so you can prepare. It has been such a difficult year, though, for so many, we need to adopt Sagittarius’ attitude that it will all work out for the best. Keeping positive right now is very important.

Sagittarius also rules justice, legal proceedings and ethics. Sags make good lawyers and teachers.

Physically, Sagittarius rules the liver, the hips and the thighs. So, dig out that liver cleanse, and strengthen those thighs and hips!

If you are setting intent this month, here are some samples:

I am asking to have my connection to the divine opened and strengthened.

I am asking to keep a positive attitude about all that is happening in my life and to trust that it will work out for the best.

I am asking to allow myself to be more spontaneous and to follow my heart.

I am asking to be grounded and centred within all that is happening in my life.

Enjoy this day and this time on Earth. There is nothing like it.

Manifesting Joy

I looked over my notes for the Full Moon past, to see if there was anything that would indicate why so many people, including me, are “under the weather” right now. The only thing I found was Greg Scott talking about the mid-heaven in Scorpio bringing anything that is not yet healed to the surface. So, if you are not feeling well right now, is the situation showing you anything that is not yet healed? For me it was easy to figure out. Even with the flu, covid, a cold, whatever it is I am entertaining right now, I

I thought I Was totally Screwed

For a long time, I thought I was totally screwed. You may have guessed that my sun sign is Sagittarius – the symbol of which is a bare-chested strange looking guy with a bow and arrow, four legs and the back end of a horse. It’s a fire sign. What you probably don’t know, is that my rising sign is Gemini -the twins – double trouble. Gemini is an air sign and its symbol looks like a doorway to who knows where. Air ignites fire. Neither sign struck me as being particularly grounded, so I spent a lot of
