New Moon in Capricorn 2014

It’s time to come back down to earth. We’ve been flying around following our Sagittarius arrows for the last moon cycle. Now, we need to ground, grow up, so to speak, act more like a goatsresponsible adult.

We move into Capricorn on the New Moon in Capricorn, the Goat, December 21, 2014. The arrows have landed, now it’s time to do something practical with what we’ve collected. This takes self-discipline and the ability to make good decisions. It also means that we need to deal with the results of former, not so great, decisions. How will you do that?

May I suggest that you pull in some Capricorn qualities to help with that?

  • Take a good look at what you want to achieve. Be very clear about your goals so you can be confident they are what you really want and that they are highest and best good for all concerned. Here’s an interesting article on goal setting with Essential  Oils.
  • Don’t be afraid of a little hard work. Commit to your goals and go after them. I’ve read that in 2015 we can achieve greatness if we work for it; so don’t be afraid.
  • Set yourself a path to get to your goal and stick to it – with revisions of what isn’t working, of course.
  • Take charge of your life. A character in a movie I watched last week said: “There are leading ladies and there are best friends.” Don’t be the best friend in your own life. Take ownership.
  • If an opportunity is presented to you, don’t dismiss it until you take a good look. Keep your eyes open for good opportunities.
  • Do everything with respect – for yourself and others.
  • Remember, you don’t have to do it alone. Ask for help. If you’re in business, delegate. Trust those working with you to carry out some of your tasks. In your personal life, you also do not have to do it alone. Rely on friends and family to help, even if only by listening. Sometimes it’s most important just to be heard. If friends or family aren’t there for you for some reason, find someone else to talk to – a therapist, even a stranger, if they’ll listen. This is a tough time of year for many people. Do what you can for yourself, and be there for someone else.

And, don’t forget your guides and angels. They are also there for you,  albeit a little less tangible. They give great hugs, though.

Capricorn also rules authority figures and fathers. So, if you have trouble with either one, this is the timing to tackle those issues, to come to peace with them.

At the physical level, Capricorn deals with bones and joints, so maybe say “thank-you” once in a while. They do hold you up. It also deals with arthritis and rheumatism, all bladder, skin and psoriases.

Manifesting Joy

I looked over my notes for the Full Moon past, to see if there was anything that would indicate why so many people, including me, are “under the weather” right now. The only thing I found was Greg Scott talking about the mid-heaven in Scorpio bringing anything that is not yet healed to the surface. So, if you are not feeling well right now, is the situation showing you anything that is not yet healed? For me it was easy to figure out. Even with the flu, covid, a cold, whatever it is I am entertaining right now, I

I thought I Was totally Screwed

For a long time, I thought I was totally screwed. You may have guessed that my sun sign is Sagittarius – the symbol of which is a bare-chested strange looking guy with a bow and arrow, four legs and the back end of a horse. It’s a fire sign. What you probably don’t know, is that my rising sign is Gemini -the twins – double trouble. Gemini is an air sign and its symbol looks like a doorway to who knows where. Air ignites fire. Neither sign struck me as being particularly grounded, so I spent a lot of
