We’ve done it! We made it to 2013.
I’m always curious as to what predictions are made about a new year. So, I go looking for those “experts”, those people who read the stars, who channel wise ones from the beyond. I truly believe in all of this. I believe the stars give us an accurate story of what is to come, what energies we will be working with in the future. I also believe that some people are very accurate channels and that the information they provide is very useful. I take all of it into account when I prepare mentally and spiritually for the year ahead. I keep it in the back of my mind, to keep me on my toes and aware.
I keep it in the back of my mind, not the forefront, because I don’t want it to influence me unduly as I go about my day. Instead, I want to be able to observe, to be aware, and then to say “oh, that’s how that played out. Now, how shall I react, how shall I deal with that”.
This year, some of the predictions say that it will be a marvelous year, that we are past the difficult times. Others say that we are still in the middle of chaos, that there is lots more to come before we can celebrate.
To me, it will be what it will be. What is important is how I handle whatever comes. Will I stay in my centre? Will I greet all that comes with love? It’s a challenge, but each opportunity teaches me more about myself, what I’ve achieved, what is yet to achieve. It’s a journey that I create every day, and if don’t like what I’ve created, only I have the power to change it.
